It’s All Over // Thank You Zwift

661 posts, 21,000 miles, and 1,253 days later. This is the day where what used to be Zwift4Kids, Pursuit Cycling For Kids, and is now ZRace Central will be inactive. In other words, I will no longer be posting content on both my website and my YouTube channel. Some of you may have seen it already, but my last YouTube video is up, and it’s a good one.

For the past 3.5 years of this site, writing and making videos has been extremely fun to do. I got places that I never thought I would ever get with both this website and YouTube channel. I’ve chosen to shut ZRace Central down for a few reasons. Firstly, I no longer ride as frequently as I used to, making it hard for me to make content about Zwift. My focus has shifted to running due to cross country during the fall. I continue to be interested in Zwift and cycling, but I’m shifting my focus to running and running content. Don’t worry, you’ll still see me riding around Watopia ;). The other reason why ZRace Central will be inactive is because I just want to try something new. This all started with “trying something new.” While it will be rough to start from scratch, I’ve got some pretty cool things in the works for my running YouTube channel.

Over the past 4.5 years, I have spent countless hours on Zwift—whether I am exploring the new roads, or racing against top e-sport cyclists. Above all, I have met other kids who share a common passion: cycling. The community on Zwift is one that is like none other—the friendships that I have developed over the past 4 years are ones that I will likely never forget. These are relationships that I will forever hold with me.

A walk down memory lane: https://pursuitcyclingforkids.blogspot.com/. This is where all of my original content lays, starting with my very first blog post – sorry, it sounds like an essay 😂.

What’s Next?

My journey as a content creator is not over yet. I continue to be interested content creation, especially from the sports side of things. From here on out, I will be posting on two new channels—one about cycling (irl) and one about my (rough) journey as a runner.

For the time being, I continue to write the “Zwift Insider Notable Events and Top 5 Zwift Videos” each week.

What About the Events?

I still remain passionate about Zwift and the community that surrounds it. Therefore, the events that happen yearly will still be happening. After all, that was one of the ways that this all got started, creating events for kids. Watch out for a page for Tour4Kids in the next few months!

Thank You

So is this the end of it all? In short, no. It may be the end of ZRace Central, but certainly not the end of my time as a Zwifter. Despite my focus on running, you’ll likely still see me here and there (probably more frequently than that…), checking out Zwift’s new features, catching up with friends, and racing.

Those of you who are reading this, thank you so much for your everlasting support – I really do appreciate it, and it has really kept me going.
