World ICR Zwift Series Announced

This is some of the most exciting news that community racing has gotten in awhile. World ICR, a new organization, will be hosting a competitive race series for community riders over the course of peak Zwift season. I expect this to be an extremely popular race series. Here are all the details.

Details

The series will be running from November through February of 2023. There will be prizes for all categories for men and women! The series is very flexible with races happening three days of the week, each tackling different courses that suit different abilities. Each of the three days each week, there will be three time zones. The series is based off of points which can be obtained from finishing position and FTS segments. Based off of the length and difficulty of the course, different amounts of points will be available. Shorter races will award up to 250 points, medium will be 500, and long races will be up to 1000 points. At the end of each month, your 3 best results will count towards your prize and result for that month. At the end of the season, the top 100 riders in each category will be invited to category finals.

Prizes

10 individual riders and one team every month will get a prize from World ICR. The winning team will also get a prize.
