As a relatively new route to Zwift, the Watts of the Wild route takes riders through Jarvis Island, Titan’s Grove, and the desert. Currently, this route is being featured as the standard distance (and race distance) in the Tour of Watopia 2026.
The route begins at the main Watopia pier and goes through the esses before veering off to Jarvis Island. After a quick lap around Jarvis Island, riders will make their way down through one length of the desert. To finish off the route, riders will head back toward downtown Watopia via Titan’s Grove.
Progression: Downtown Watopia -> Esses -> Jarvis Island Loop -> Downtown Watopia -> Desert (fwd) -> Titan’s Grove -> Downtown Watopia

Things to Look Out For
If you’re racing on the Watts of the Wild route, you are going to want to watch out for separations or major moves in a few different places. The first spot is through the Esses. The winding nature of this section makes it easy to stretch the group out, and the pack also rolls fast through this section. Losing the draft here will cost you.
Jarvis Island has a small KOM where riders will almost certainly be pushing. The downhill after the KOM is also not quite steep enough for the pack draft to make a tremendous difference, so watch for riders trying to continue their move over the top of the climb.

The final place to look for moves is through Titan’s Grove. Most of the moves would be on the Titan’s Grove KOM, but the rolling terrain of the course gives the possibility of powerful moves at any time on the segment.
