Zwift Update October Released 1.30

Today is game release day! The latest game release is now available on Mac, PC, Android and iOS.

This release wasn’t exactly the most exciting release that we’ve had, but it did introduce some welcome changes. Zwift is actively working on Urukazi, the next Makuri Islands expansion. This expansion will be dropping in November, so keep your eyes peeled!

New Homescreen Updates

The new home screen will now display the average WKG and speed. This makes the data a lot more accurate.

Forums release notes

Here are the release notes from the forums:

  • A new font family has been introduced for better functionality in-game. Areas of the game that require smaller font sizes will use a slightly different font better suited for its size.
  • Although we liked seeing your bunny hops and hurdles, we fixed a recent issue where small gaps in roads appeared.
  • Smoothed out avatar transitions between “in the drops” and “on the hoods” animations.

Latest game version

My thoughts

Over the past few releases, Zwift has been getting better and better at making sure the game releases are bug free. I am looking forward to seeing the new features released to the public, and stay tuned for more Zwifty content!

Game Release Not Downloading?

If the game release is taking more than a few minutes to download, it likely means that your device is not ideal for Zwift. There could also be other applications getting in the way of the download. Be sure that you have a solid WiFi connection when downloading the game releases.
