In Zwift’s latest “This Season on Zwift” press release, they announced an all-new racing series that would be coming to the platform this spring. The key draw to this event is its focus on gravel. Following the trend of gravel riding, Zwift and PAS have decided to hop on the trend and expand their focus on gravel riding.
The Basics
The PAS Racing Series will be a 4-week racing series on various gravel routes on Zwift. The series will begin on April 6th, and races will run hourly. This is expected to be the main racing event this spring. You can expect these to be some of the most popular and competitive events on the racing calendar.
Routes
Perhaps the most exciting part of this race series is its use of the new Gravel Mountain world in Zwift. Gravel Mountain, which was previously an experimental world, will for the first time be available to the public during the PAS Racing Series. This is a rolling gravel circuit (~3 miles per lap) with a few different routes.
While the routes for stages 1 through 3 are not yet known, we do know that they will be held on routes in Gravel Mountain. Stage 4 is set to take place on the Yumezi Grit route in the Makuri Islands.
Unlocks
As usual, there will be a nice reward for completing this event. For completing this series, riders will unlock the PAS Normal Racing kit (as seen above).
