Zwift has just launched game version 1.108, which includes several notable changes and fixes to the game. As usual, the update will be a random phased rollout with all users receiving the update by Friday.

Coffee Stop Changes
Zwift has introduced a few sizable changes to the Coffee Stop feature that was launched a few years back. The feature has been enormously successful, though controversial at times. Below are the changes outlined:
- Zwift has fixed the issue where Coffee Stopping to another rider would stop abruptly in the following cases
- Triggering in the final 5k or 15 min of an event
- Transitioning from an event to free ride
- Your momentum will continue even if you go a different direction from the rider you are Coffee Stopped with
- 3-minute Coffee Stop is now available at the 5-minute mark (vs 30 min previously)
- Hovering over or tapping the Coffee Stop icon will display the reason the Coffee Stop isn’t available
- Coffee Stop timers now reset properly when changing between activity modes
Strava Title Renaming
Zwift has adjusted how activities are titled in Strava. As opposed to having all of the information in your title, some of it will be split into the caption of your activity (ex: route will now be in caption).
Bug Fixes
Here are the list of bug fixes from the forum post:
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Goal Met notification banner to incorrectly appear in-game.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the level-up visual effect to display the wrong level.
- Fixed an issue that could cause level-up notifications to not appear in the Zwifters Nearby list when riding in Climb Portal.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Apple Watch to appear as “UNKNOWN DEVICE” in the Pairing Screen.
- Fixed an issue that could cause workout arches to render incorrectly in the Watopia volcano.
- Fixed an issue that could cause minor visual discrepancies between the Race Score shown in the Zwift post-ride progress report vs. Zwift Companion. This only affected the display of Race Score – the underlying values were unaffected.
- Improved Windows connection to Computrainers
Conclusion
While there were not many major features or changes in this update, we still continue to see Zwift heading in the right direction. Many of the Coffee Stop changes were highly requested by users, so seeing those acted upon are needed change. Looking to the next few months, I’d expect Zwift to continue rolling out its AI activity suggestions, with another “This Season on Zwift” in a couple of months.
