Zwift’s “The Big Spin” event is back for the third year in 2026. This year, it’s safe to say that Zwift has upped its game with this event, bringing a new “mystery spinners” feature and 12 new unlocks.
The Basics
- 4 stages
- Starts March 16th and runs through April 6th
- Prize spinning wheel at the end of each stage
- Rides taking place hourly (not officially a race)
- Option for on-demand completion

Mystery Spinners
New “Mystery Spinners” are hidden throughout the map, marked by treasure chests for riders to discover. When you find one, you’ll get a spin with a chance to unlock rewards from past Big Spin events.
Starting February 27, there will be eight Mystery Spinners scattered across Watopia. This serves as a cool way to add a bit of adventure to your rides and give Zwifters an extra reason to explore parts of the course they might normally skip.
